Dear Friends of Carnoustie Gala,
For 2015 we are again inviting teams to consider entering a Walking Float as well as the usual Decorated Floats,Vintage Buses, Vintage Tractors, Car or Bike club or any other type of vehicle, or just join in the Parade and enjoy the walk, through Carnoustie with your club. (A walking float is one where teams dress up and walk the parade as opposed to the usual decorated float).
All floats will take the usual route from Panmure Industrial Estate along the High Street before arriving at Carnoustie House Grounds for final judging. We also produce a yearly programme and is funded by advertising. If you would like to place an advert in our programme please contact us as soon as possible to discuss prices etc. The cut-off date for inclusion is mid March, (contact details here).
Carnoustie Gala Committee was established to socially enhance the community of Carnoustie and District and in the process raise funds that are then distributed to local clubs, associations, good causes,etc. We are a non-profit making organisation and all funds raised are through the endeavours, competitions and events, etc. we hold throughout the year.
